Should you workout while you're sick.
You feel sick, should you exercise? Working out with a common cold may be ok, working out with a fever is a NO!! Raising the body temperature while sick can make you even sicker. Also, if you have bronchial tightness you should just rest and let your body fight it. There's always the neck evaluation. If your symptoms are above the neck ( sneezing, watery eyes, sore throat, congestion) it's typically ok. However, when they are below the neck, (fatigue, fever, body aches, coughing) then you should definitely rest. If you must exercise you should tone it down. It's not the best time to do sprints, hill repeats, or max squats. Just turn the dial down a bit, you don't want to make it worse and delay your training/exercising any longer than it needs to be.
